Job summary
Dyson Singapore is seeking a Senior Motor Control Engineer to join its MDAC team. You will apply your expertise in electrical machines, control theory, algorithms, modelling and simulation to deliver motor control solutions for Dyson technologies and products.
You’ll work with cross‑functional teams through design to industrialisation, translate requirements into deliverables, develop and test control algorithms, simulate performance, and support production testers.
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- At least 3 years of motor control algorithm development experience.
- Knowledge of electrical machines, motor control, power electronics and control theory.
- Experience with simulation tools (MATLAB SIMULINK/SIMSCAPE) and SPICE.
- Familiarity with FEA of electrical machines and data analysis.
- Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Deliver from design phase through industrialisation.
- Translate requirements into deliverables at each milestone.
- Design, develop, document and implement motor control algorithms.
- Simulate and test motor control and electromagnetic designs.
- Support design, commissioning and testing of production testers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
