Job summary

Dyson Institute in Singapore invites a Senior Motor Control Engineer to join the MDAC team. You will apply expertise in electrical machines, control theory, and algorithm design to deliver motor control solutions for next‑generation Dyson technologies.

Working with engineers across disciplines, you’ll translate complex requirements into robust deliverables, simulate and test control schemes, and support industrialisation from design through production, while collaborating in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or numerate discipline; at least 3 years in motor control algorithms and electromagnetic parts
• Experience with MATLAB SIMULINK, SIMSCAPE, SPICE, or embedded coder
• Knowledge of FEA and data analysis; strong teamwork and communication in an Agile environment

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into deliverables at each project milestone.
• Design, develop, and implement motor control algorithms.
• Simulate and test motor control and electromagnetic designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support production testing.
