Job summary

Heraeus Electronics Singapore is seeking a senior R&D lead to drive the development of TIM1 materials and innovative assembly solutions. You will act as a technical leader, guide research activities, and mentor junior engineers while aligning projects with market needs and stringent quality standards.

You will collaborate across disciplines, engage with clients and suppliers, and present technology roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Master degree in materials science, chemistry or related fields.
• 5–7 years in semicon assembly materials, TIMs, with proven product development experience.
• Strong knowledge of TIM1 materials, synthesis, chemistry, characterization and applications.
• Familiarity with chemical/material safety, environmental and waste regulations.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision abilities.
• Strategic thinking with risk assessment and solution development.
• Project management and cross-functional leadership in global teams.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of TIM1 material solutions.
• Coordinate with senior management, clients and vendors to gather requirements and report progress.
• Explore new technology and translate it into product concepts and roadmaps.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of learning and innovation.
• Represent Heraeus Electronics at industry conferences and events.
• Manage projects to meet timelines, budgets and quality standards.
