Job summary

Heraeus Electronics is seeking a senior engineer to lead development of Sinter and TIM1 products, leveraging deep expertise to deliver high-performance semiconductor materials. You will guide research, optimize processes, and mentor junior engineers across global teams.

The role requires a Master’s degree in materials science or related field with 5–7 years of hands-on development experience in sinter or TIM1 applications. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in materials science, chemistry or related field required.
• 5–7 years of experience in sinter or TIM1 product development, proven semiconductor applications experience.
• Hands-on product development and leadership of technical teams/projects.
• Strong knowledge of sinter paste and TIM1 materials and related properties.
• Knowledge of safety, environmental and waste management regulations; strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute development projects for Sinter and TIM1 products, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Explore new technologies and liaise with stakeholders to gather requirements and discuss decisions.
• Provide solutions on materials characterization, especially thermal properties and troubleshooting.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous learning and innovation.
• Prepare technical reports, papers, patent applications, and project updates.
