Job summary

Heraeus Materials Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced materials scientist to drive powder development and explore new alloy systems for semiconductor applications. You will lead cross‑functional teams, mentor staff, and contribute to technology development and customer projects.

Responsibilities include managing budgets for R&D, engaging stakeholders, and representing the company at industry events, while ensuring on‑time delivery and high quality across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or related field.
• Master’s or Ph.D. in materials science is highly desirable.
• 4–7 years of experience in semiconductor materials, with metallurgy or powder development.
• Experience leading technical teams and projects.
• Hands-on with metallurgy or powder development equipment.
• Knowledge of powder manufacturing and product development.
• Understanding of chemical safety, waste management and environmental impact.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and be involved in powder development projects and explore new alloying systems.
• Ensure tasks and projects are delivered on time and within budget with quality standards.
• Engage suppliers, partners and customers to gather insights and foster collaboration.
• Mentor and develop team members to promote innovation and continuous improvement.
• Represent the company at conferences, seminars and networking events.
• Develop and manage budgets for innovation projects and R&D activities.
• Perform all other related activities as assigned.
