Job summary

HERAEUS MATERIALS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior materials leader to drive TIM1 material development and strategic R&D initiatives. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, mentor junior engineers, and ensure projects align with market needs and quality standards.

In this role you will liaise with management, clients and suppliers, translate technology into product roadmaps, and stay abreast of industry developments. A master’s degree and 5–7 years in semicon materials are required.

Qualifications

• Master degree in materials science, chemistry or related field.
• 5–7 years in semicon assembly material industry, esp. thermal interface materials.
• Strong knowledge of TIM1 materials: synthesis, chemistry, characterization, product development.
• Knowledge of chemical/material safety, environmental and waste regulations.
• Strong analytical skills for data-driven decisions and performance improvements.
• Strategic thinking with ability to assess trends and risks.
• Project management skills for planning and resource allocation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and adapt to changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of TIM1 material, ensuring innovative, feasible solutions.
• Coordinate with senior management, clients and vendors to gather requirements and report progress.
• Translate new technology into product concepts and roadmaps for development.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous learning.
• Represent the company at conferences and industry events to strengthen relationships.
• Perform related activities as assigned.
