Job summary

STATS ChipPAC Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced R&D professional to lead assigned projects and drive technology development initiatives across materials, processes, and products.

You will design and execute DOE experiments, assess feasibility, transfer technology to manufacturing, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Equipment, Process Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure successful implementation.

Qualifications

• Experience in product and process development and understanding of manufacturing principles.
• DOE, statistical analysis, and data-driven decision-making experience.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Experience in semiconductor or electronics-related industries preferred.
• Willingness to travel for training or technology transfer.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned R&D projects and technology development initiatives.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for high performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Design and execute DOE experiments to characterize and optimize new products and technologies.
• Support assessments and feasibility studies to aid development.
• Analyze data to identify improvement opportunities and establish process windows.
• Evaluate and qualify new materials, equipment, and methods.
• Perform risk assessments with mitigation plans during development.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Equipment, Process Engineering, and Supply Chain.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and development records.
• Support technology transfer to volume manufacturing and product ramp-up.
