Job summary

A prominent construction company in Singapore is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to prepare cost comparisons, handle contract negotiations, and manage sub-contractor relationships. Candidates should have a Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying and at least 3 years of experience in main contracting companies. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of MRT projects are preferred. This position offers a 5-day work week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in main contracting companies.
• Proven ability in contract negotiation and administration.
• Experience in MRT projects is preferred.

• Prepare and analyse cost comparison..
• Providing information of all the contract documents, correspondence and other information to ensure a proper performance of contractual obligations.
• Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off.
• Strong understanding of construction and engineering principles.
• Knowledge of relevant construction contracts and procurement processes.
• Analytical skills to evaluate and manage project costs effectively.
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments
• All other QS related job

REQUIREMENT /QUALIFICATION

• Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying
• Min 3 years and above experience as Senior Quantity Surveyor in main-con companies
• Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Golden software
• Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive & able to meet tight deadlines
• Preferably with working experiences in MRT projects
• 5 days work week
