Job summary

ANRADUS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee budgets and cost control for complex diaphragm wall, foundation, and civil works. The role is based in Ang Mo Kio with a permanent contract and a 5-day work week.

You will lead cost forecasts, valuations, procurement, and tender submissions while coordinating with project teams. A minimum of 5 years’ QS experience and strong contract knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of quantity surveying experience, preferably with a main contractor in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement strategies and tendering procedures.
• Analytical ability to interpret technical documents and financial data.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee project budgets, cost forecasts, and financial strategies for diaphragm wall, foundation, and civil works.
• Track and analyze expenditures, variations, and overall financial progress against planned budgets.
• Perform feasibility reviews and cost-benefit studies for upcoming construction projects.
• Draft tender submissions, contracts, and procurement schedules with project teams.
• Assess and negotiate supplier and subcontractor proposals for cost-efficient terms.
• Prepare valuations and detailed cost reports for senior management and client review.
• Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental requirements during project execution.
• Draft contractual correspondence and submit claims/notices within contract timelines.
• Submit payment applications, follow up for certification, and finalize accounts on schedule.
• Manage subcontractor accounts including orders, monthly payments, and reconciliation of final accounts.
• Compile monthly reports on costs and subcontractor liabilities for PM review.
• Verify accurate measurement of completed works to maximize entitlements.
• Handle insurance claims by notifying and submitting required particulars.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably with a main contractor in Singapore’s construction sector.

• Proven expertise in managing budgets, project costs, and financial reporting.

• Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement strategies, and tendering procedures.

• Analytical ability to interpret technical documents and financial data.

• Skilled in negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management.

• Experienced with foundation works, LTA and MRT projects is an added advantage.
