Develop and oversee project budgets, cost forecasts, and financial strategies for diaphragm wall, foundation, and civil engineering works.
Track and analyze expenditures, variations, and overall financial progress against planned budgets.
Perform feasibility reviews and cost-benefit studies to evaluate the viability of upcoming construction projects.
Work with project teams to draft tender submissions, contracts, and procurement schedules.
Assess and negotiate supplier and subcontractor proposals to secure competitive and cost-efficient terms.
Prepare valuations and detailed cost reports for senior management and client review.
Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental requirements throughout project execution.
Draft contractual correspondence with the Project Manager, submitting claims and notices in line with contract timelines.
Submit payment applications promptly, follow up for certification, and finalize accounts on schedule.
Manage subcontractor accounts including work orders, monthly payments, and reconciliation of final accounts.
Compile monthly reports on sales figures and subcontractor liabilities for Project Manager review.
Verify accurate measurement of completed works to maximize entitlements and meet contractual obligations.
Handle insurance claims by notifying and submitting particulars within required timelines.
Diploma/ Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably with a main contractor in Singapore’s construction sector.
Proven expertise in managing budgets, project costs, and financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement strategies, and tendering procedures.
Analytical ability to interpret technical documents and financial data.
Skilled in negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management.
Experienced with foundation works, LTA and MRT projects is an added advantage.
