Job summary

Corestaff Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Senior QS to manage cost planning, control, and contract administration across the project lifecycle. You will ensure financial efficiency while upholding quality and contractual standards on large-scale civil, infrastructure and industrial works.

Ideal candidates hold a degree and at least 3 years of civil experience, with strong analytical rigor and negotiation skills to manage budgets, tendering and procurement effectively.

Qualifications

• At least Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
• Preferably at least 3 years of relevant working experience in Civil Engineering.
• Good technical and contractual knowledge with high integrity and work ethic.
• An independent and effective team player, collaborating on multi-projects of various stages, ensuring deliverables within set time & expectations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for tender submissions
• Manage contract administration and progress claims
• Perform measurements and prepare interim and final valuations
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
• Monitor and control project costs against budgets
• Prepare variation orders, and handle contractual claims and disputes
• Provide support in procurement and material scheduling
