Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in Singapore to contribute to cost planning, tendering, and final accounts within a consultancy setting.

You will undertake quantity take-offs, prepare measurement documentation, and support budgeting and cost control across varied construction projects. The role involves reviewing claims, variations, tender documentation, and coordinating with consultants, contractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a relevant discipline.
• For Senior QS, preferably 6 years or more of hands-on Quantity Surveying experience.
• Consultancy experience will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of construction measurement, cost management and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare measurement documentation for construction works.
• Assist with the preparation and review of Bills of Quantities.
• Monitor project costs and support cost estimation and budgeting activities.
• Assess variations and assist with the evaluation and pricing of commercial claims.
• Review monthly progress claims and assist with final account preparation.
• Support tender exercises, contract administration and related documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and suppliers on commercial and cost-related matters.
• Obtain and compare supplier/subcontractor quotations where required.
• Maintain organised records of project measurements, claims, quotations and other documentation.
• Work closely with senior team members and provide support to junior colleagues where applicable.

• Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to manage responsibilities independently and work effectively within a project team.
• Fresh graduates with a relevant Quantity Surveying qualification may be considered for junior positions.
