Job summary

sggovterp is seeking a senior project management professional to oversee construction development projects for government estates. You will collaborate with land planners, architects and engineers, and lead tender processes to select consultants and contractors.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Architecture/Civil/M&E and experience with public sector projects is a plus. You will manage a multi-disciplinary team to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Background in Architecture/Civil/ME Engineering with 5+ years relevant experience in building developments.
• Experience in public sector projects is an advantage.

What the role is

You will be part of the project management team involved in development projects (industrial/non-industrial), A&A projects or R&R of industrial estates.

What you will be working on

You will work with the various government agencies, land planners, architects and engineers on concept designs of construction projects. You will prepare project briefs and lead in the tender preparation to select and appoint project consultants and contractors, as well as coordinate and monitor their work. You are expected to identify potential construction related issues or contractual disputes, and effect appropriate solutions. You will lead in managing a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that the projects are delivered in a cost-effective and timely manner.

What we are looking for

Background in Architecture/Civil/M&E Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience in building developments in developer, consultancy and contractor organisations. Having experience in public sector projects will be an advantage.
