Job summary

EXYTE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams for semiconductor/pharma packages. You will define package scope, coordinate with System Engineers, and drive delivery through design, procurement, and construction phases.

You will act as the main liaison to clients and subcontractors, manage documentation, approvals, and commissioning readiness, and ensure timely closeout and handover with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience with multiple construction delivery methods (engineering, design/build, EPC, EPCM, CM).
• Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in engineering; professional certification or registration if required; local requirements may vary.
• Or 15+ years of equivalent project site experience on semiconductor or pharmaceutical projects without a degree.
• Strong communication with diverse audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/provincial, and national statutes and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work habits.
• Ten years of EPFC/CM industry experience, with understanding of procedures and interfaces.
• Experience participating in risk assessments initiatives.
• Proven performance in similar roles on at least two medium or large semiconductor construction projects

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cross-functional Package Team through project completion.
• Primary point-of-contact for all stakeholders regarding the Design Package and related Work Packages.
• Define and assign Package Scope in detail.
• Coordinate development of package documents with System Engineers and other Package Owners.
• Track and manage Package progress in project controls platforms.
• Review Submittals, Shop Drawings, and approvals.
• Serve as Primary Point-of-Contact for Sub-contractors.
• Represent the Package in Commissioning Core Team Meetings and oversee team involvement in System Commissioning.
• Manage SOO updates per design intent and client review/approval.
• Arrange and manage package site inspections, punch lists, system tagging.
• Submit package documentation including As-built docs and O&M manuals to Commissioning Lead/Engineer.
• Oversee Closeout procedures for the Package and ensure deliverables are accepted by client.
• Contribute to System/Package handover to client.
• Leverage Corp QMS and participate in vendor trade shows to stay updated with industry trends.

Job description

Role Purpose: In general, this role shall plan and perform work requiring sound technical judgment in the evaluation, organization, and execution of project management assignments. This role has the responsibility to perform the essential job duties and functions as listed below with the overall objective of managing and/or coordinating project activities that are in compliance with the contract and ensure the safety, quality, value, timeliness, and profitability of the completed project. Performing assigned general duties of limited scope and level of responsibility, this position is designed to develop broader project management knowledge and experience. At this level, the role may have the responsibility as the only Package Owner on a small size project with full accountability for the general duties, or the responsibility for general duties on a larger or more complex segment of a very large project.

Job Responsibility:

• Lead and manage cross-functional Package Team in all aspects of a Package (both Design Package and the related Work Packages) through project completion.
• Primary point-of-contact for all stakeholders regarding all matters related to the Design Package and related Work Packages
• Lead the detailed assignment / definition all Package Scope
• Managing the development of, and changes to, Package-related documents in coordination with System Engineers and other Package Owners
• Track and manage Package progress, including leading weekly updates of Package-specific data in Project database / controls platforms
• Submittal / Shop Drawing review, and inspection approvals
• Primary Point-of-Contact for Sub-contractor
• Represent the Package in Commissioning Core Team Meetings, and oversee the Pkg. Team's involvement in System Commissioning procedures
• Manage the FMCS updating of Sequence of Operation (SOO) documents per design intent and actual condition, including review and approval by the client.
• Arrange and manage Package site inspections, Punchlists, System Tagging (OT, GT, BT).
• Collect and submit all Package documentation to System Commissioning Lead and System Engineer, including but not limited to As-built documentation, and Operation and Maintenance Manuals
• Oversee the Pkg. Team's involvement in Closeout procedure for the Package.
• Ensure that all Sub-contractor deliverables are reviewed and accepted prior to project closeout.
• Manage the System / Package handover to client

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and ten (10) years of work-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements.
• OR without a degree, 15+ years equivalent project site experience on Semi and/or Pharmaceutical type projects
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Abilityto attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
• Ten (10) years of experience in engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction/construction management (EPFC/CM) industry including the performance of functional tasks on projects with a well-developed understanding of procedures and interfaces
• Experience participating in risk assessments initiatives.
