Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a seasoned Project Controls Manager to lead integrated planning, scheduling, cost estimation, risk management, and reporting for a multi-billion-dollar renewable energy and transmission project. The role oversees EPC contractors and international suppliers, ensuring accurate forecasts and governance across cross-border interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or related discipline.
• 15+ years’ experience in project controls on major capital projects.
• 8+ years’ experience in senior project controls leadership roles.
• Proven experience leading integrated project controls functions including planning, cost control, risk, change management, and reporting.
• Extensive experience supporting major EPC/EPCI projects.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and ERP/controls systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the Project Controls function across the full lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and align with milestones.
• Lead schedule assurance, forecast risks, and recovery plans.
• Lead project-wide estimating and forecasting activities.
• Implement cost control systems and provide forecasts and dashboards.
• Manage change control processes and governance.
• Establish and manage project risk framework and quantitative risk analysis.
• Oversee document management and information governance.
• Verify contractor progress and performance independently.
• Coordinate controls across all packages and interfaces.
• Prepare executive reporting and dashboards.
