Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Area Project Manager to lead delivery for a major renewable energy interconnector in Southeast Asia. You will oversee EPC/EPCI contractors, drive governance, manage interfaces, and coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure on‑time, on‑budget project delivery.

The role emphasizes independent assurance for the Owner through PMC, with substantial leadership across multi‑location teams and cross‑functional interfaces. Southeast Asia experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years delivering major infrastructure, energy, or industrial projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a Project Manager, Area Manager, Package Manager, or equivalent leadership role.
• Proven experience delivering utility‑scale energy or infrastructure projects.
• Experience working within EPC and EPCI delivery environments and managing major contractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day engagement with EPC/EPCI contractors and key suppliers.
• Monitor contractor compliance with contractual and project requirements.
• Review performance against approved schedules, milestones, and key deliverables.
• Lead regular performance reviews with contractor management teams.
• Escalate material performance concerns and risks to the Project Director.
• Independent progress verification and reporting across assigned scopes.
