Job summary

GovTech Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to perform cost control and contract management across planning, design, construction and commissioning of transformative infrastructure projects. You will prepare cost estimates, budgets and cost plans, and drive value engineering while ensuring quality and project objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree in QS or related field as listed.
• Minimum 8 years post-graduate experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in quantity surveying and/or contract management for large-scale projects.
• Experience in full life-cycle of infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Strong English written and verbal communication; stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgeting and cost plans.
• Develop and implement value engineering strategies to optimise costs while maintaining quality.
• Prepare Tender Documents, tender evaluation and award.
• Perform post-contract management and administration.
• Monitor cost performance and manage cost variances and impacts.
• Implement cost control, variations & claims management strategies and manage cost risks.
• Manage contractual claims and dispute resolution.
