Job summary

SDC Sentosa Development Corporation seeks a senior professional to manage cost control and contract management across multi-phase infrastructure projects in Singapore. You will guide teams, develop budgets, and implement value-engineering strategies to optimise costs while maintaining quality.

The role requires extensive post-graduate experience in the construction industry, with emphasis on large-scale projects and effective stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Project & Facilities Management, Building, Construction Management or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 12 years (AD) or 15 years (SAD) post-graduate relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in cost control and contract management for large-scale multi-disciplinary projects.
• Familiarity with BIM is advantageous; strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage cost estimates, budgeting, and cost plans.
• Develop and implement value engineering strategies to optimise costs.
• Establish procurement strategy and contract packaging for large-scale projects.
• Review tender documents, evaluate tenders, and award contracts.
• Post-contract management including cost control, variations, and claims.
