Job summary

Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) invites a seasoned professional to lead cost control and contract management across transformative infrastructure projects in Singapore. The role covers planning, design, construction and commissioning of multi-phase initiatives, with emphasis on cost discipline and value delivery.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, 8+ years in large-scale engineering projects, strong English communication, and stakeholder engagement

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• 8+ years post-graduate experience in construction/engineering.
• Experience in large-scale multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Experience with lifecycle of infrastructure projects from planning to commissioning.
• Familiarity with public sector projects and gateway processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English, ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgeting and cost plans.
• Develop and implement value engineering to optimise costs while maintaining quality and objectives.
• Prepare Tender Documents, conduct tender evaluation and award.
• Perform post-contract management and administration functions.
• Monitor cost performance and manage cost variance and impact.
• Implement cost control, variations and claims management strategies; manage cost risks.
• Manage contractual claims and dispute resolution.
