About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior ProjectChartering Manager to join a leading international shipowner and operator with a diverse fleet covering dry bulk and multipurpose cargoes. The role focuses on developing and managing a parcelling trade portfolio, optimising vessel employment and maximising revenue performance across assigned routes.

You will be responsible for driving commercial performance through proactive business development, market analysis and close collaboration with internal operations and voyage management teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and expand the parcelling trade by identifying and securing profitable cargo combinations and contracts.
• Negotiate and conclude charter parties for voyage and time charters, ensuring optimal vessel utilisation and returns.
• Build strong relationships with cargo owners, brokers, and counterparties across key markets.
• Maintain up-to-date market intelligence on freight levels, competitors, and commodity flows to support commercial decisions.
• Collaborate with operations and voyage control teams to ensure smooth execution and profitability of fixtures.
• Analyse voyage economics, cargo mix, and performance metrics to enhance yield optimisation.
• Support the development of long-term commercial strategies, including COAs and strategic partnerships.
• Ensure all chartering activities comply with company policies, risk management, and sustainability standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5-8 years of chartering experience, ideally in parcelling, multipurpose, or breakbulk trade.
• Proven track record of securing profitable cargoes and managing multiple voyage combinations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Strong market awareness with an entrepreneurial mindset.
