Job summary

GovTech Singapore, the lead agency for Singapore’s Smart Nation initiatives, is hiring a Deputy / Assistant Director, Programme Management to oversee a portfolio of initiatives and translate strategic priorities into actionable goals. You will partner with Agencies’ senior leadership, manage the End-User Support Service, and ensure delivery of GovTech’s products with strong stakeholder alignment and risk management.

Qualifications

• Strong problem‑solving and scoping skills, with the ability to take on ambiguous challenges and develop actionable recommendations.
• Excellent capability in stakeholder alignment and engagement regarding ICT strategies and digital transformation.
• Ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders and successfully lead cross‑functional collaboration.
• Strategic thinking with broad perspective of different issues.
• Knowledge of ICT architectures, delivery, and operations, with ability to identify and manage risks for your team.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Programme Execution: Plan and manage a significant subset of the programme spanning multiple major projects.
• Agency Partnership: Share GovTech’s roadmaps with Agencies’ senior leadership and CIO teams; harmonise technology use and measure outcomes.
• Operational Oversight: Manage the End‑User Support Service (EUSS) delivery and related change management initiatives.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders and resolve complex conflicts.
