As Deputy Director, Engineering Manager, you will guide multiple agile product teams, set technical direction, and drive design, implementation and delivery with a growth-oriented culture.

You will architect end-to-end solutions, align roadmaps with stakeholders, and foster engineering excellence while focusing on public-good

Qualifications

Experience leading medium to large teams (15+) with managers.
Experience solving complex technical issues with high security and high availability requirements.
Experience with modern full-stack technologies: Next.js/React.js frontend and Java/TypeScript backend.
Proven ability to provide technical leadership to large teams and drive product success via data.
Passion for engineering excellence and for public good.

Responsibilities

Deliver value of a programme through multiple agile product teams.
Define engineering strategy and set directions aligned with the organisation’s vision.
Collaborate with product and UX leaders to drive product vision and roadmaps, delivering value to Singapore.
Identify and initiate worthwhile engineering initiatives to maximise impact for the public good.
Architect end-to-end solutions across systems, applications and platforms.
Establish practices and tools to maximise engineering effectiveness and culture.
