Job summary

GovTech in Singapore is hiring a Product Manager in the Digital Accelerator Unit to balance hands-on delivery with strategic thinking. You will shape product vision, set direction, and manage stakeholders while leading a diverse team of engineers, data specialists, designers and ops experts.

You will own the backlog, roadmaps, and cross-functional execution, making trade-offs between business value, user needs and technical constraints.

Qualifications

3 - 5 years of product management experience.
Product management experience in a start-up environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience managing stakeholders effectively.
Proven track record working with cross-functional teams and fostering inclusive environments.
Track record of shipping impactful product or feature.
Strong product sense and intuition.
Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort with ambitious goals in a fast-moving environment.
Technical background in Computer Science or similar.
Experience building self-serve, scalable products.
Experience guiding teams through ambiguous situations and tough trade-off decisions.
Scrum Master or Product Owner certification.

Responsibilities

Create vision and strategy with Product Lead / Programme Manager.
Evaluate new product opportunities and pitch capabilities based on data and user needs.
Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data specialists, designers, and operations.
Manage the product backlog and roadmap, prioritising based on business value and user impact.
Navigate bottlenecks and trade-offs between business needs, user requirements and technical constraints.
Present roadmaps and updates to stakeholders regularly.
Build short-term plans that ladder up to long-term goals.
Deliver product features and outcomes.
Handle user stories, acceptance criteria and product requirements using JIRA, Trello and Confluence.
Gather business and user requirements and turn them into development-ready user stories.
Keep documentation current, including project plans and risk logs.
Manage sprint planning and backlog prioritisation.
Ensure everything meets IM8 and government security standards.
