Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. in Jurong, Singapore, seeks an experienced Production Training Lead to optimize production workflows and improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

You will lead a team that supports Production Managers and Supervisors and manage the Training Within Industry (TWI) program to build workforce competency. You will coordinate MRB activities, drive Lean Six Sigma projects, and collaborate with Global teams to align the site with the West Business System.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in elastomer manufacturing or elastomer related manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience working with ISO9000, and cGMP is preferred.
• Certification in LEAN/6 Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Business Support team to support Production departments in purchasing activities through approved vendors and manage RFQ/PR/DO/invoices.
• Manage training programs, including Training Within Industry (TWI), and develop production workforce competency.
• Oversee MRB processes to streamline disposition of nonconforming materials and reduce scraps and rework.
• Drive Operational Excellence (OPEX) by implementing improvements and leading Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
