Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Excellence Manager to lead Production Engineering and Training teams to drive systematic improvements across all production areas. You will champion digital manufacturing initiatives and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

The role calls for strong leadership, Lean/Six Sigma expertise, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver safety, quality and productivity gains aligned with site strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing/industrial engineering or related field.
• 8+ years relevant experience with at least 3 years in supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and govern manufacturing systems, standards, and best practices across production operations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma to boost safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
• Drive manufacturing performance using data and change management and adoption of new systems and technologies.
• Provide leadership to the Production Engineering team and resolve production issues.
• Lead training to ensure production training systems meet requirements (TWI, JIB, OJT, competency).
• Develop and sustain digital manufacturing solutions to improve visibility and decision-making.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Process Engineering, Plant Engineering, Supply Chain, HR and D&T for site objectives.
