Job summary

J.P. Morgan Asia Private Bank in Singapore is seeking an Associate in Private Banking Investment Operations to act as the senior operations partner to bankers and traders, owning escalations and day‑to‑day servicing.

You will lead triage of breaks and exceptions, drive root‑cause remediation, and partner with risk, compliance, legal, and technology teams to deliver governance, controls, and audit‑ready documentation in a fast‑moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Min 5 years of experience in a trade support, middle office, or operations role
• Strong business judgement and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and communicate clearly across senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, including structured root-cause analysis and practical decision-making under pressure.
• Strong ownership and execution discipline, with learning agility and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, drive closure through others, and maintain service quality in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior operations point of contact for bankers and traders, ensuring reliable day-to-day servicing and strong client outcomes.
• Own escalations end-to-end, including break and exception triage, risk-based decisioning, root-cause analysis, and timely remediation
• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives, defining requirements, supporting testing, and ensuring controls are strengthened sustainably.
• Maintain and enhance the operations control framework, including standard operating procedures and risk/control documentation, ensuring clarity, governance, and audit readiness.
• Lead cross-functional coordination with business, risk, compliance, legal, technology, and operations teams to deliver transformation initiatives and meet governance expectations.
