Job summary

J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management in Singapore seeks a Private Banking Support Professional focused on the China market.

You will work with Advisors and Investors to provide essential operational support, onboarding, and documentation, while managing the full trading lifecycle and client communications. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in private banking client service or relationship support, Mandarin fluency, and a strong grasp of asset classes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of client service and/or relationship manager support experience in Private Bank, with background in brokerage/trading.
• Fluent written and spoken Business Mandarin is essential to support Chinese-speaking clients from China.
• Strong knowledge of Private Bank business and asset classes/products.
• Proactive, independent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work under tight market deadlines and execute clients' orders with accuracy.
• Discretion in handling confidential information.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills and sound judgment for risk/escalation.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to Advisors and wider team.
• Manage account opening/onboarding with onboarding officer.
• Assist Bankers with updating documentation and periodic reviews.
• Own full trading lifecycle from pre-trade checks to posting and reporting.
• Develop deep knowledge of all asset classes and products.
• Serve as primary contact for day-to-day account administration.
• Collaborate with Client Service and broader team on accounts and credit facilities.
• Open new accounts ensuring documentation is complete and approved.
