Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte. Ltd. seeks an Advanced Packaging Metrology-RDA Engineer to develop and enable innovative inspection and metrology techniques for advanced packaging technologies.

You will diagnose yield issues and propose breakthroughs, coordinating with teams across the organization to deploy new metrology and RDA solutions. You will establish equipment evaluation strategies and contribute to long-range planning to enable Micron’s packaging technology roadmap.

Qualifications

• PhD with or Master’s degree in a relevant field and >=3 years, or Bachelor’s with >=5 years of related experience.
• Semiconductor process or equipment engineering experience, preferably in wafer bonding, plating, warpage control and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize metrology recipes for various semiconductor processes.
• Ensure recipes are accurate and efficient for production needs.
• Develop and execute strategies for process monitoring, sampling, and CIP.
• Establish inspection methodologies and BKM for metrology processes.
• Perform in-line characterization and validation of metrology recipes.
• Utilize data analysis tools to summarize and report metrology status and project progress.
• Own and manage metrology tools, ensuring they meet performance indicators and QoS.
• Drive readiness and set up OCAP and SPC charts.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to integrate manufacturing processes for quality control.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights to improve efficiency and quality.
