Job summary

MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE LTD seeks an Advanced Packaging Metrology-RDA Engineer to develop innovative metrology recipes and enable AI-driven insights across packaging programs. You will collaborate with wafer fab, assembly, and quality teams to drive yield, reliability, and process improvements.

PhD or Master with significant semiconductor experience is preferred. The role emphasizes data analytics, SPC, DOE, and tool ownership in a fast-paced environment in Singapore.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master with substantial experience in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Semiconductor process or equipment engineering experience, preferably in wafer bonding, plating, warpage control and packaging field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize metrology recipes for various semiconductor processes.
• Establish inspection methodologies and best-known methods (BKM) for metrology processes.
• Perform in-line characterization and validation of metrology recipes.
• Utilize data analysis tools like Power BI to summarize and report metrology status and progress.
• Own metrology tools and drive SPC charts and related quality metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into packaging processes.
• Apply AI-enabled insights to improve efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
