Job summary

Singapore General Hospital seeks a Senior / Patient Service Associate Executive (PSAE) in the OT Management Unit to optimise operating theatre utilisation. You will monitor upcoming capacity, coordinate scheduling requests from surgeons and clinical departments, and allocate OT slots while balancing priorities.

The role requires strong analytical and interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any discipline, preferably with 2 years’ experience in a healthcare environment.
• Possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills with ability to exercise initiative, manage pressure, multi-task and work independently in a fast paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate OT scheduling and capacity management to ensure optimal utilisation of available operating theatre resources.
• Collaborate with OT stakeholders to effectively manage and optimise Open Access resources.
• Manage and respond to surgery scheduling enquiries and OT slot requests from surgeons and clinical departments.
• Prepare routine reports and provide regular updates on OT utilisation, capacity, and operational status.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance OT scheduling processes and operational efficiency.
