Job summary

Tan Tock Seng Hospital is seeking a Senior / Patient Service Associate (Operating Theatre) to support patient registration, admissions and perioperative operations. The role involves coordinating outpatient and inpatient activities, and ensuring smooth patient flow through the surgical pathway.

You will work closely with Operating Theatre and Endoscopy teams, manage administrative tasks, and liaise with vendors to maintain supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Register, admit, transfer and discharge patients with SAP/EMR entries.
• Provide payment processing and financial counselling for procedures.
• Coordinate appointment scheduling and inpatient bed bookings.
• Contact patients before procedures to confirm timings and prep instructions.
• Organise registration timings to align with theatre listings.
• Support OT and Endoscopy listings and daily operations.
• Prepare elective procedure listings for Nursing Teams.
• Retrieve patient records via EMR to aid decision-making.
• Handle enquiries from internal/external stakeholders about facilities.
• Provide administrative support for day-to-day operations.
• Liaise with vendors on goods receipt, invoicing and supply coordination.
• Manage stocks including dry rations and patient/kin supplies.
• Maintain stationery, pantry, catering and locker administration.
• Handle mails and correspondence timely and organized.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care.
• Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork in a fast-paced perioperative environment.
