Job summary

MAYOR EXPRESS FREIGHT SERVICES PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an Operations Lead to oversee daily air and sea freight forwarding activities, resolve issues, and maintain discipline within the team. You will lead and support operations staff to ensure timely processing of imports and exports, identify and resolve problems, and promote service quality while documenting data in Microsoft Office.

The role requires a Diploma and strong English skills, and candidates should reside in the eastern regions

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding for air and sea shipments.
• Diploma holder with proficiency in English speaking and writing.
• Reside in eastern regions of Singapore (Tampines, Bedok, Pasir Ris, Hougang, Sengkang).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support junior operations staff to complete daily tasks in air and sea freight forwarding.
• Manage daily operations to ensure timely processing of import and export shipments.
• Identify and resolve operational problems to maintain workflow continuity and service quality.
• Enforce discipline and promote a positive work environment within the operations department.
• Demonstrate initiative to improve operational processes and team performance.
• Document, track, and report shipment and operational data using Microsoft Office tools.
• Adapt to flexible working hours, including occasional odd hours.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding for both import and export involving air and sea shipments
• Diploma holder with proficiency in English speaking and writing
• Reside in the eastern regions of Singapore such as Tampines, Bedok, Pasir Ris, Hougang, or Sengkang
