Job summary

National University Hospital (NUH) in Singapore seeks a Senior Assistant Manager / Manager to independently oversee Operations Centre portfolios, driving emergency preparedness, incident coordination and operational readiness. You will develop SOPs, plan exercises, manage MOH/NUHS taskings, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver practical, timely responses.

You will also lead complex projects, mentor junior staff and present management updates to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline is required.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in healthcare operations, emergency preparedness, crisis management or business continuity would be advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and operational planning skills.
• Good written and verbal communication, including management updates and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned emergency preparedness portfolios, plans, SOPs and workflows.
• Coordinate cross-department reviews, consolidate inputs and track actions.
• Assess MOH / NUHS requirements against existing NUH arrangements and prepare gap analyses / implementation considerations.
• Plan and coordinate exercises (tabletop, functional, or full-scale) and document outcomes.
• Support incident coordination, situation reporting and post-incident reviews; maintain C2 and escalation readiness.
• Prepare MOH / NUHS taskings and governance submissions; support secretariat work and readiness reporting.
• Manage cross-functional projects with multiple departments; prepare briefing materials and decision papers.
• Oversee readiness resources, procurement and maintenance for emergency preparedness equipment.
