AECOM in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to support MEP cost estimation and contract administration on building projects. You will interpret drawings, prepare cost analyses, and manage MEP contracts from tender through final accounts, collaborating with clients, consultants and contractors on-site.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering from a recognized University/Institution
• At least 3 years postgraduate experience in project management, cost estimate, tendering, pre and post contract administration of either mechanical or electrical disciplines may be considered for Senior Position
• Responsible, self-motivated and enthusiastic
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Good communication and written skills in English
• Applicants who hold a Degree in Building or Quantity Surveying, and are conversant with mechanical and electrical building services may also be considered.

Responsabilités

• Provide support on various aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) services.
• Carry out cost analyses and prepare cost estimates for MEP services.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to calculate MEP project costs.
• Prepare and manage MEP contracts, including main and nominated sub-contracts.
• Measure and take off quantities for MEP work elements.
• Assess variation orders and prepare interim valuations.
• Compile and administer contract documents for execution.
• Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance of MEP works.
• Prepare and agree on final accounts for MEP projects.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors on MEP matters; attend meetings as required.
