Job summary

Accesstech Engineering Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to lead cost estimation, budgeting and controls for MEP projects. You will perform detailed take-offs, evaluate drawings, and collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate cost forecasting and value engineering.

The role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience in industrial, commercial or data-centre environments, with strong knowledge of MEP and a proven ability to manage contractual aspects.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University.
• Minimum 5 years of related working experiences in industrial, commercial or data-centre projects.
• Good working knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical.
• Organizational skill with attention to detail, adaptable and flexible.
• Good communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work well in a team, independently and demonstrate initiative and commitment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP projects.
• Analyze and evaluate project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and costs.
• Perform quantity take-offs for materials and labour for MEP installations.
• Develop and manage project budgets, monitor cost variations and report on cost-saving measures.
• Assist in tender documents and procurement, evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Administer and manage contracts including variations and claims.
