Job summary

NORTHCROFT LIM CONSULTANTS PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor responsible for cost estimation, tendering, procurement, contract administration and cost control of MEP works on construction projects. You will analyse drawings and specs, prepare estimates, and manage variations, payments, and final accounts.

The role requires strong communication with project teams, risk assessment, and robust reporting to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related field.
6-8 years of experience in Quantity Surveying Consultancy or Construction.
Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction processes.
Excellent skills with cost estimation software, AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Analyse project drawings and specifications to prepare accurate MEP cost estimates.
Assist in tendering by evaluating bids and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers.
Administer contracts, review terms, variations, and claims to ensure compliance.
Prepare interim and final valuations, verify payment claims.
Manage variations and changes, documenting impacts on costs.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for cost management.
Provide regular cost reporting and forecasting to project management.
Prepare comprehensive final accounts for MEP works.
