Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a senior cost management professional to lead end-to-end cost management on construction projects in Singapore. You will drive strategic planning, governance, budget control and mentor the cost team while contributing to business growth and innovation.

You will engage clients and stakeholders to deliver value, manage risks, and ensure project success across the lifecycle, delivering robust cost management solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in cost management or construction projects.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with experience in people management.
• Strong business acumen with ability to drive outcomes for clients and coordinate with construction and design teams.
• Experience in client management with advisory skills in value management, value engineering and life cycle costing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of cost management services on construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Strategic planning, governance, and execution to meet client expectations, quality standards and budgets.
• Team leadership and development of cost managers and staff; performance reviews and mentoring.
• Client and stakeholder engagement to deliver a value-added cost management service.
• Develop cost benchmarks, reporting structures and control mechanisms for projects.
• Oversee end-to-end cost controls, estimating, cost planning, and monthly cost reporting.
• Support business development through proposals, client presentations and market engagement.
