Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Lead Cost Manager / Senior Cost Manager (MEP) to join its global project and cost management practice in Singapore. You will guide MEP cost strategies, lead tender analyses, and drive cost optimisation across large-scale construction programs with a focus on client value and robust governance.

The role demands leadership capabilities, strong communication, and extensive experience in MEP cost management within consultancy environments.

Qualifications

• Experienced cost or commercial manager on large scale construction projects with increasing leadership responsibilities.
• MEP focus with ability to read services drawings and schematics.
• RICS chartered or on the path to qualification; support available.
• Degree or comparable qualification in construction, quantity surveying, mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Strong ownership, accountability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in tender/bid process from documentation through analysis and reporting.
• Analyse cost reports and review with senior management as the MEP expert.
• Prepare budgets with detailed cost modelling and benchmarking.
• Manage project costs against budget, including cost reviews and value engineering.
• Support settlements of disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency.
• Maintain cost documentation and enable timely communication for decisions.
• Mentor and lead the team to deliver high quality client value.
• Lead the team to deliver impeccable quality and client value.
