Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee all on-site construction activities for a Singapore data centre new build. The role emphasizes site logistics, trade coordination, safety, structural sequencing, and keeping the contractor on the critical path within tight industrial boundaries.

Responsibilities include directing daily site operations in zones like Tuas/Jurong, supervising deep foundations and heavy lifting, coordinating MEP handovers, enforcing MOM

Qualifications

• 8+ years of site construction management experience, with at least 3+ years on data centre or high-tech builds in Singapore.
• Deep knowledge of deep-piling, precast/concrete structures, steel erection, and heavy lifting.
• Strong understanding of trade logic, weather-tightness, and MEP staging.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily on-site construction logistics in constrained industrial zones.
• Supervise structural build-out, deep foundations, ERSS, and mass concrete pours.
• Lead trade coordination and ensure clear paths for utilities and piping.
• Enforce MOM-compliant safety and oversee high-risk activities.
• Conduct site walks, QA/QC, NCRs, and coordinate inspections with RIs & QPs.
