Job summary

Linesight Singapore seeks a Senior Cost Manager to lead tendering, cost planning, and pre-contract cost control on major construction projects. You will guide cost reporting, change management, and value-for-money analysis across client teams.

You will mentor teams, support disputes settlement, and help deliver best-value outcomes while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Senior Cost Manager with consultancy background, experienced on large construction projects.
• Pre-contract cost management: budget control, cost planning, change forms, materials.
• Chartered or on the path to chartership; company can support.
• Degree or equivalent in project management or construction.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.
• Adaptable in a dynamic environment with strong prioritization.
• Ability to build strong client and team relationships.

Responsibilities

• Participate in tender/bid process from documentation to reporting.
• Manage change management: identify, analyze, approve, and implement cost changes.
• Analyse tenders/bids to ensure client value for money.
• Assist final accounts preparation and settlement of claims for best value.
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
• Oversee spend with valuations and cost reports; communicate variants clearly.
• Support quick decision-making through cost documentation and timely communication.
• Support settlement of construction disputes with transparency.
• Foster top performance and growth through mentorship and leadership.
