Job summary

National Environment Agency invites an experienced planning professional to lead the development of after-death facilities and services in Singapore. You will steer complex projects, coordinate with government bodies, and translate strategic intent into practical outcomes that serve the public during sensitive moments.

You will collaborate across divisions, manage projects and procurement, and balance rigorous analysis with empathy in stakeholder engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and development of after-death facilities and services, managing consultants and contractors through all project phases
• Drive feasibility studies and pilot programmes for new initiatives, translating findings into actionable recommendations
• Formulate policy and operational strategies to complement and strengthen the provision of after-death facilities and services
• Develop data-driven insights to support evidence-based decision-making
• Review and develop relevant policies and regulations, ensuring they remain relevant in a changing landscape
• Engage sensitively and professionally with the public on feedback and enquiries relating to after-death matters
• Adapt to evolving priorities and contribute to cross-divisional efforts as required
