Job summary

NEA National Environment Agency in Singapore is seeking an operationally strong facilities professional to join the Mandai Operations Department. You will oversee end-to-end facilities management for Mandai Complex, Yishun Columbarium and Kranji State Cemetery, delivering dignified, after-death care services to the public.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Facilities/Estate Management or Engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong problem-solving, writing and communication skills.
• Mature, tactful, independent, and resourceful with a collaborative mindset.
• Willing to work in after-life care service environment and on weekends/public holidays if required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of facility and installations, including building systems and services.
• Supervise a team including outsourced contractors to ensure work quality.
• Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance per contract requirements.
• Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of works.
• Handle procurement of office equipment, supplies, and other items.
• Perform administration such as processing invoices and coordinating uniforms.
• Respond to feedback and incidents, coordinating with authorities as needed.
• Participate in events and after-hours activities as required.
