Qualifications

• Experience in planning, procurement or policy work.
• Familiarity with budget management and government procurement guidelines and processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to deal with complexity and ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Formulate policies, operational strategies and plans to enhance after-death facilities and services.
• Oversee projects and initiatives to improve service delivery and operational readiness, including market research and engaging suppliers.
• Plan and manage end-to-end procurement activities, including drafting requirements and tender documents, and ensuring compliance with guidelines.
• Lead and coordinate emergency response efforts for after-death operations.
• Oversee budget planning, tracking and utilisation, and conduct variance analyses.
• Manage land and building assets, including licences and records management.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned by supervisor.
