Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support major national infrastructure projects, including the North-South Corridor and a new MRT line. This is a strong opportunity to grow your career with a reputable Japanese MNC offering AWS and performance bonuses.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • 5 to 8 years of relevant industry experience

  • Experience managing LTA projects (ACMV, fire protection, ducting)

  • Strong planning, coordination, and site management skills

Key Responsibilities

Plan

  • Develop monthly and weekly installation schedules

  • Identify potential site issues early and mitigate risks

  • Coordinate with site PICs on work arrangements and manpower

  • Work with suppliers on material and equipment delivery, including MERF submissions

Do

  • Attend project and coordination meetings with clients, consultants, architects, main and sub-contractors

  • Oversee site execution to ensure smooth progress

  • Prepare and submit method statements, risk assessments, and shop drawings

  • Prepare project progress reports and claims

Check

  • Ensure M&E designs meet client requirements

  • Inspect materials and equipment before and after delivery

  • Review installation works for quality compliance

  • Conduct joint site inspections and manage testing and commissioning

Act

  • Resolve defects and complete outstanding works

  • Prepare as-built drawings for final inspections

  • Develop O&M manuals for client handover

  • Assist with final account settlement, including variation orders
