Job summary

Cogent Holdings Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Business Development Executive to drive growth in its Southeast Asia logistics business, with emphasis on Singapore and Malaysia. You will lead business development, sales activities and market research, while coordinating projects and tenders to deliver integrated logistics solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in BD, sales, or logistics.
• Experience in logistics sales, tender management, or key account management is an advantage.
• Knowledge of warehousing, transportation and freight forwarding is advantageous.
• Strong ability to develop opportunities and manage the sales process from enquiry to implementation.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical and research capabilities to translate market data into business insights.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Proactive, results-oriented with ownership mindset.
• Comfortable working with Senior Management on confidential cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow the Company's logistics business across Southeast Asia.
• Identify and develop new customers, markets and opportunities.
• Handle sales enquiries and develop logistics solutions, pricing and proposals.
• Prepare quotations, tender submissions and customer presentations.
• Maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Conduct regular engagement and business reviews with key customers.
• Support negotiations on commercial terms.
• Cross-sell integrated logistics solutions (Warehouse, Transportation, Container Depot, Tank Depot, Freight Forwarding).
• Maintain active sales pipeline and report progress to Management.
• Support GM on strategic and operational projects.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure project objectives.
• Monitor progress and escalate risks.
• Follow up to ensure transition from commercial to operational execution.
