Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a Senior Strategy Analyst within Global Payment based in Singapore. You will perform LATAM payments market research, competitive benchmarking, and regulatory analysis to identify growth opportunities and risks.

Collaborating with Global Payment and key business units, you will help design 3-5 year roadmaps for payment and credit product expansion, optimize monetization, and drive cross-functional strategy execution across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in strategic analysis, business consulting, or investment, preferably within LATAM payments, fintech, or internet-based strategy/business analysis.
• Familiarity with LATAM regional fundamental payment industry business models and rationale (acquiring, issuing, pricing structures) and core lending models.
• Proficiency in strategic analysis tools.
• Strong data analysis capabilities and ability to independently complete analytical reports.
• Excellent cross-departmental communication skills and proficiency in English reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Industry and Strategic Research: track LATAM payments trends and regulatory frameworks; identify risks, opportunities, and whitespace for growth.
• Long-Term Planning: assist 3-5 year roadmaps for payment product expansion and partnerships for scalability and compliance.
• Business Strategy Support: partner with Global Payment and other units to identify growth levers and monetization improvements.
• Cross-Functional Strategy Implementation: lead end-to-end research projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Performance Management: support regular reviews and refine plans to align with evolving goals.
