Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a senior strategic analytics professional to drive fintech and lending strategy across Southeast Asia and Latin America from our Singapore office. The role requires leading research on market developments, evaluating product strategies, and shaping 3–5 year roadmaps with strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Economics, Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, investment, fintech strategy, or business analytics.
• Strong strategic thinking with market sizing, frameworks, competitive analysis, and operational deep-dives.
• Ability to independently conduct market and competitor research.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, or Excel for data extraction and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Industry Research & Strategic Analysis: track fintech and lending market developments in SEA and LATAM; analyze product strategies and business models to identify opportunities and risks.
• Mid-to-Long-Term Strategy Planning: develop 3–5 year roadmaps for consumer and merchant lending across SEA and LATAM; define priorities and partnerships.
• Strategic Support & Business Growth: act as a strategic partner to Payments and Financial Services; work with Product, Risk, Funding, and E-commerce teams to drive KPI growth.
• Problem Solving & Execution: identify business challenges, lead deep-dives, coordinate stakeholders to drive execution and impact.
