Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a seasoned engineer for its Global Payment team in Singapore. You will design and develop global payment systems, focusing on account membership, merchant services, wallet products, and operational platforms to support rapid business growth.

You will analyze complex payment scenarios, optimize system architecture, and ensure high concurrency, reliability, and security across ByteDance platforms including TikTok.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in a large-scale internet business.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms; apply to real-world problems.
• Proficient in at least one of Java, Python, Golang, C++, or PHP.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop global payment systems including account membership, merchant services, wallet products, and operations platforms.
• Analyze business scenarios to identify payment pain points and drive product development for growth.
• Contribute to system architecture, improve performance, reliability, and scalability; address technical challenges during iterations.
• Maintain end-to-end perspective, identify bottlenecks, and improve system performance and stability.
• Drive technical innovation to enable rapid product iteration and business development.
