Job summary

ByteDance is seeking an experienced Global Payments Technology Audit Leader to join the Global Technology Audit team in Singapore. You will develop and implement audit strategies for payment tech across APAC/EMEA, lead complex audits end-to-end, and collaborate with regulators.

Qualifications

• Extensive years of progressive compliance or technology auditing experience within payments/fintech sectors.
• Strong understanding of payment regulations and control environments for compliance.
• Experience building audit plans for APAC/EMEA and leading complex technology audits end-to-end.
• Prior experience with regulators responsible for payment or money transmitter regulations.
• Analytical ability to assess complex tech environments and provide risk-based recommendations.
• Excellent problem-solving, collaboration and communication skills with business credibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement technology audit strategies for payment, lending, and other regulated products across TikTok and ByteDance entities in APAC and EMEA.
• Lead complex, risk-based technology audits from planning through reporting, including risk assessment and testing.
• Act as the primary Technology Audit Leader with regulators and supervisory authorities in APAC/EMEA/LATAM.
• Oversee coverage of Payment Technology Architecture, End-to-end Payment Processing, and Security.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to advise on design and implementation of technology solutions.
• Ensure audit quality and adherence to department standards; seek process improvements.
