Job summary

UCT is seeking an IT Support Specialist to assist local and global users with hardware, software, networks and IT systems in a fast-paced semiconductor environment in Singapore. You will maintain desktops/laptops, printers and peripherals, manage user accounts, support LAN/WAN, and coordinate with vendors while upholding security and data privacy standards.

A Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10/11 and Server OS.
• Experience with desktop/laptop hardware and peripheral devices.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, LANs, Data Backup and Print Server.
• Comfort with cleanroom environments and fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to local and global users across hardware, software, networks, and IT systems.
• Troubleshoot problems to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, access control, and security across systems.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement, maintenance and service delivery.
