Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Singapore is seeking an IT Support Specialist to assist local and global users with hardware, software, networks, and IT systems.

You will diagnose issues, install and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals, manage user accounts, and support network infrastructure while ensuring security and documentation. The role requires strong customer service and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including cleanroom settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience in Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10/11, Server OS.
• Experience in desktop/laptop hardware.
• Demonstrated ability to support networked printers, photocopiers, scanners, and multifunction devices.
• Knowledge in LANs, Data Backup, and Ethernet cabling.
• Customer oriented with positive attitude.
• Ability to work in cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing Technical Support: Offer assistance to local and global users with hardware, software, networks, and IT systems.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical problems and implement solutions.
• Hardware Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware.
• Software Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and update operating systems, software, and drivers.
• User Account Management: Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts while ensuring security.
• Network Support: Setup, configuration, and maintenance of LANs/WANs.
• Systems: Manage door access, CCTV, clocking system.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain accurate IT documentation.
• Training and User Education: Conduct training on IT best practices.
• Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors for hardware/software procurements.
• Continuous Improvement: Propose IT improvements.
• Incident Management: Prioritize and resolve service tickets.
• Adherence to Policies: Ensure compliance with IT security and data privacy.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent service.
